This position primarily serves as a Certified / Registered Medical Assistant (CMA / RMA)or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), providing direct support to the provider and ensuring high-quality patient care. The role may also include Referral Specialist responsibilities when the provider is not in the office to help maintain smooth clinic operations.

What Youll Do :

• Triage and prepare patients for medical examinationsAdminister medications, perform lab testing, and assist with proceduresMaintain clean and well-stocked treatment areasAssist with referrals, preauthorizations, and scheduling when neededAdhere to all HCHD safety, security, and compliance standards
• Support nursing and front office staff as required
• Communicate professionally with patients and staff while maintaining HIPAA compliance
• Educate and counsel patients on treatments, medications, and testing
• Record and update patient history, medications, and vital signs in the EMR
