Independent Loss Control Consultant (Commercial Insurance) - San Antonio, TX

Insurance Safety Consultants (ISC) is actively seeking independent loss control consultants to join our dynamic team in the Greater San Antonio area. We are particularly interested in candidates who possess a minimum of five years of substantial experience in insurance loss control, specifically within a commercial insurance carrier. The role primarily focuses on conducting comprehensive risk assessments and narrative loss control survey reports.

Requirements

• Successful candidates will have demonstrated experience in completing casualty and property lines insurance loss control surveys and reports.
• A robust understanding of loss control best practices relevant to various lines of commercial insurance coverage is essential.
• Familiarity with the various standards, codes, and regulations that apply across different industries will be crucial.
• You will be responsible for preparing thorough narrative reports of your assessments and formulating actionable recommendations for risk mitigation.
• Proficiency in creating reports in both Word-based formats and web-based platforms is necessary.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite products, including Excel and Word, is expected.
• Candidates should possess excellent organizational, communication, and report writing skills.
• This position requires self-starters who can manage their own schedules, set appointments, and submit reports promptly.

The role of Insurance Loss Control Consultant offers a competitive hourly independent contractor pay rate with regular payment periods (the 1st and 15th of each month). Extensive prior experience in insurance loss control is preferred.
