American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring Cerner experience and proficiency in trauma, neuro, ortho, and vascular procedures.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Work in the Operating Room of a short-term acute care hospitalPrimary cases include trauma, neuro, ortho, robotic, and vascular proceduresShift is four 10-hour days per week from 07 : 00 to 17 : 30On-call requirement of 1-2 weekend call shifts every 6 weeks and potential for 1-2 days with 4-hour shift extensions on weekdaysHoliday rotation is requiredPotential to float within the hospital or to affiliate hospitals depending on census and volumeCerner is used for charting and Cerner experience is requiredScrub uniforms are providedResponsibilities include providing perioperative care for trauma, neuro, ortho, vascular, and robotic surgical casesMust complete up to 8 hours of online training modules prior to the start dateProfessional conduct and attendance are strictly enforced and any concerns may result in immediate contract terminationReturning staff must have a 3-year gap before being eligible to travel at this facility againRequests for time off must be disclosed prior to consideration, with a maximum of 10 days off during the assignment, and willingness to work one of three major holidays if RTO overlaps\n \n Requirements\n
Active IN or compact RN license (pending license accepted if active by start date)Current ACLS and BCLS certifications requiredMinimum of 2 years of operating room experience requiredTrauma experience is requiredStrong proficiency in neuro and ortho procedures and experience with vascular and robotic surgery requiredCerner charting experience is requiredMust live at least 50 miles from the facility; local applicants are not acceptedFirst-time travelers are accepted\n Benefits\n
