Optometric Technician Receptionist

Oronoque Eyecare is a private Optometric practice with multiple locations. We are looking to expand our team and currently have a full time position available. Experience is welcome, but very willing to train the right candidate. We pride ourselves on being a positive work environment for our employees.

Duties will include :

Perform preliminary testing including auto refraction, NCT, Optomap, and lensometry

Obtaining medical histories from patients

Administering diagnostic tests on patients including OCT, retinal imaging, and visual field testing.

Answer phones and schedule patient appointments

Providing contact lens education and training

Verifying and billing insurances

Contact lens insertion and removal training

Data and clerical entries into electronic medical software

Experience preferred but not required. Compensation will be based on level of experience.

Salary : $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
