Merchandise Manager

We're seeking a full-time Merchandise Manager for our Los Angeles-based corporate office. The Fashion Merchandising Manager is responsible for driving merchandising strategies that align with both the brand's commercial objectives and creative direction. This role oversees brand's sales goals, conceptualize trend directions, and monitor launching dates, as well as inventory cycle. In close partnership with the Brand Director, the Merchandising Manager helps shape and maintain the brand's aesthetic to ensure cohesive storytelling and visual alignment across all touchpoints.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and manage seasonal product assortments in collaboration with design, planning, and buying teams
- Conduct trend forecasting and market research to inform product strategy
- Oversee the merchandising calendar and ensure timely product launches
- Analyze sales data and KPIs to optimize product performance and suggest adjustments
- Collaborate with creative, marketing, visual merchandising to ensure cohesive brand messaging
- Manage inventory levels and product flow to reduce markdowns and maximize sales
- Partner with e-commerce and retail channels to ensure product presentation and storytelling align with brand standards
- Lead and mentor a team of buyers, designer, and production coordinators
Job Requirements
5+ years of merchandising experience in fashion, with a track record of managing product assortments and driving salesBachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, Marketing, or a related fieldStrong sense of style and understanding of brand aesthetics, with experience translating creative vision into commercial strategyProficient in Excel and merchandising tools (e.g., PLM, TableAU)Analytical mindset with strong numerical and planning skillsExcellent communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skillsExperience working across retail and e-commerce platformsBenefits and Perks
