Material Program Manager

Raytheon is seeking a Material Program Manager (MPM) with demonstrated project management experience. You must be a self-starter, capable of developing and achieving organizational and program goals, and must be able to successfully interface with all levels of internal management. This opportunity is with the Land & Air Defense Systems (LADS) mission area, Product Support sub-mission area of Raytheon. In this role you will be the Material Program Manager for two programs; the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Spares Program; and the Improved Target Acquisition System (ITAS) Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) Program.

The MPM serves as the leader for the program's supply chain activities and is the liaison between the Program Management Office (PMO) and the Integrated Product Team (IPT) and other functional leads. This position requires an individual who will be able to exert impact and influence the overall goals and long-range goals of the program and the program IPT team.

What You Will Do :

  • Develop and execute supply chain strategies and goals, as well as Company goals
  • Manage the Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) activities and deliverables to include demand induction through purchase order creation, supplier management to material receipt
  • Requesting Material Contract Briefs
  • Create and manage the Comprehensive Material Report
  • Sales forecasting
  • Management of the OTD Health Management System for contract deliverables
  • Return & Repair, and acquisition of production materials.

Qualifications You Must Have :

  • Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of Supply Chain experience
  • Experience with Office 365 (i.e. Word, Power Point, Excel and Project) with emphasis on Excel (VLookup, Pivot Tables, Charts).
  • Prior work experience with financial budgets and forecasts.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program / contract.
  • Qualifications We Prefer :

  • Experience leading, communicating, and presenting to all levels of Management and senior leadership.
  • Earned Value certification (EVMS) or equivalent.
  • Ability to operate in an ambiguous environment.
  • Experience in leading cross-functional teams.
  • Experience supporting / leading proposal efforts.
  • Experience working with suppliers.
  • Working experience as a Cost Account Manager.
  • Ability to balance reasonable thinking with tactical application of strategies to programs.
