SUMMARY :
The Crisis Intervention Therapist will deliver essential mobile response and stabilization services to youth (ages 2-20) and families experiencing crises. You will work collaboratively as part of a dedicated team to respond to hotline calls, providing face-to-face support either in-person or via video conferencing. Your priority will be to assess risk, stabilize family situations, and implement care strategies effectively within an hour of crisis identification.
This is a part-time position with flexible scheduling options, allowing you to work up to 30 hours per week across first and second shifts, including evenings and weekends.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES :
- Provide timely mobile response to identified family crises within one hour.
- Engage with youth and families to de-escalate crises and conduct risk assessments.
- Facilitate hospitalizations for clients when necessary.
- Complete crisis assessments and Child and Adolescent Needs and Strengths (CANS) to develop safety and stabilization plans.
- Manage a small caseload during the ongoing stabilization phase for up to six weeks.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation in compliance with licensing and accreditation standards.
- Maintain client confidentiality as per HIPAA guidelines and agency protocols.
OTHER DUTIES :
Participate in staff meetings, supervision, and ongoing training.Keep all necessary trainings, certifications, and licensure updated according to agency regulations.Uphold high standards of ethical and professional conduct while adhering to agency policies.Complete other tasks as assigned by management.QUALIFICATIONS :
Education : Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.Licensure : LSW, LMFT, or LPC required; LISW, IMFT, or LPCC preferred.Skills : Ability to work effectively with diverse populations, demonstrating cultural competency. Strong initiative and independent judgment are essential.Core Expertise : Knowledgeable in performing essential role duties; committed to ongoing learning.

Knowledge of DSM-5 is required, and crisis intervention experience is preferred.Other : Must provide valid CPR and First Aid certification (provided by the agency).
