About this Job :
The overall function of this position is to assist Professional Engineers and / or higher level Construction Inspectors in the performance of construction inspection work and general contract administration duties required of a District Project Engineer's Construction Office. Specialized areas of responsibility include Portland Cement Concrete Inspection, Superpave Asphaltic Concrete Pavement Inspection, Embankment and Base Course Inspection, Structural Concrete Inspection, and Subsurface Drainage Installation Inspection. The incumbent must be self-motivated and be able to perform all construction contract administration and related duties with minimal supervision and be able to interpret unforeseen conditions as they may arise.

Minimum Qualifications :
Possession of a high school diploma or GED; OR Six months of experience in sub-professional engineering, heavy mobile equipment operation, or mobile equipment maintenance.

Compensation : Below is the starting hourly rate for each level. There is an additional $2.00 / hour Premium Pay for every hour worked.
