Radiology Technologist Job Details Assignment Type : Travel Radiology Technologist Location : Columbia, SC 29204 (South Carolina healthcare jobs) Facility Setting : Acute Care Hospital – Diagnostic Radiology Unit Start Date : December 8, 2025 End Date : March 9, 2026 Contract Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 5x8-Hour Days (Monday–Friday, 7 : 30am–4 : 00pm) Hours per Week : 40 On-Call : Minimal, weekend on-call rotation Guaranteed Hours : Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks Parking : Free parking (pass provided) Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1690–$1820 Radiology Technologist Qualifications Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technologist or X-Ray Tech Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT R) South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association (SCQRSA) license Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA or Red Cross) Radiation badge (provided by agency) C-arm and fluoroscopy experience preferred Experience with EPIC and Sectra PACS charting systems preferred Ability to work effectively in a clinical healthcare team Knowledge of age-specific criteria for adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics Radiology Technologist Responsibilities Perform diagnostic radiology procedures and X-ray exams independently Operate imaging equipment including c-arm and fluoroscopy units Follow radiation safety and infection prevention protocols Prepare and administer contrast media as needed Accurately document procedures and patient information in EPIC and Sectra PACS Participate in weekend on-call rotation and provide coverage as required Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams for optimal patient care Maintain current certifications and licenses throughout the travel assignment Discover the charm of Columbia, SC and grow your radiology career with this travel healthcare job.
