Job Description

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for handling, moving, and storing various non-hazardous and hazardous materials within a warehouse. The primary duties include loading and unloading different transport items, recording and receiving inventory statuses, and ensuring deliveries properly match purchase orders.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, and storage of materials.
• Enter inventory data into company systems (SAP) with accuracy and timeliness.
• Organize and maintain inventory by identifying, labeling, and stocking materials. Maintain a comprehensive database of the locations of all items.
• Periodically check the inventory to ensure all materials and supplies in stock are correct.
• Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against documentation.
• Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits.
• Prepare items for shipment by pulling, crating, packing, loading, and securing the product.
• Keep accurate records and documentation of everything that is shipped.
• Ensure the inspections and maintenance of the equipment used daily.
• Complete preventive maintenance requirements; follow manufacturer's instructions; troubleshoot malfunctions; and call for repairs to keep equipment operational.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Conserve resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
• Document actions by completing production and quality forms.
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Essential Skills

• Experience with forklift operation.
• Proficiency in inventory management.
• Ability to handle packaging and use RF scanners.
• Competence in loading, shipping, and receiving tasks.
• General labor and warehouse inventory skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Familiarity with SAP systems for data entry.
• Ability to perform cycle counts and inventory audits.
• Strong organizational skills for maintaining inventory.

This is a Permanent position based out of Rochester, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr.
