CTR Group is seeking an ENGINEERING ANALYST for an Aerospace Company in the Newport News, VA, area. Immediate opening and urgently hiring!

Pay Range : $50 - $60 per Hour Plus Generous Benefits.

SUMMARY :

The Engineering Analyst conducts analysis on designs of R&D prototype components and assemblies and carries out the following tasks :

• Performs thermal and structural analysis of product components and assemblies using finite element or hand calculation methods.
• Reviews customer specifications and internal methods to plan analysis activities,
• Determines loading conditions and develop appropriate acceptance criteria.
• Performs thermal and structural analysis of product components and assemblies using finite element or hand calculation methods.
• Supports customer interface meetings and design reviews by presenting analysis plan, status and results as required.
• Recommends design and material changes as required to progress the design solution.
• Documents analysis results in both presentation, spreadsheet, and formal report forms.
