GI Physician Locum Tenens Opportunity in Southern Kentucky

Are you a dedicated Gastroenterologist seeking a rewarding locum tenens experience? We are currently looking for a skilled physician to provide call coverage through 2024 in the picturesque Southern region of Kentucky, near PROVIDENCE.

Position Overview :

  • Job Details : 24 Hour Call (7 am - 7 am)
  • Documentation System / EMR : EPIC
  • Trauma Level / Designation : No Trauma Designation
  • Estimated Credentialing Timeframe : 90 days

Required Procedures :

  • Esophageal Dilatation / Manometry
  • Small Bowel Biopsy
  • Lower GI Endoscopy
  • Sigmoidoscopy
  • Colonoscopy

    • Required Types of Upper GI Endoscopy :

  • With Biopsy
  • With Foreign Body Removal
  • With Banding of Varices
  • Diagnostic
  • With PEG (Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy)

    • Submission Requirements :

  • Board Certified / Eligible - REQUIRED
  • Active KY License - REQUIRED
  • Flu vaccine - REQUIRED
  • COVID Vaccinate - Preferred
  • 100% Clean background - REQUIRED
  • MUST HAVE AVAILABILITY FOR THE LISTED JANUARY 2024 DATES
