Become a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) with Hawai‘i Behavioral Health!
Training and Certification Program Available on O‘ahu, Maui, and the Big Island.
Hawai‘i Behavioral Health is now accepting applicants for our RBT Training and Certification Program. This opportunity is perfect for individuals who are passionate about working with children and families and are interested in beginning a career in behavioral health.
Through our comprehensive training program, you’ll receive the education, hands-on experience, and supervision needed to become a Certified Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). Upon successful completion of training and certification, you’ll be eligible to work as an RBT with Hawai‘i Behavioral Health.
Once certified as an RBT, you’ll work one-on-one with children and individuals with developmental challenges, helping them learn new skills, express themselves, and reach their goals. You’ll play a key role in creating positive changes that improve their everyday lives.

ABOUT HAWAI`I BEHAVIORAL HEALTH : Hawai`i Behavioral Health was founded in 1993 to serve Hawai`i's youth and families through behavioral, educational, and social health services. Our service has expended over the years to include paraprofessional support, behavioral health intervention, early intervention programs, psychological assessments, individual and family therapy, intensive home-based services, therapeutic foster care, and parent training.
