- Conduct comprehensive physical examinations on patients
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as laboratory work and imaging studies
- Prescribe medications and other treatments
- Provide counseling and education to patients on health promotion, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records

Master's degree in Nursing with specialization as a Nurse PractitionerCurrent state licensure as a Nurse PractitionerCertification as a Nurse Practitioner in the respective specialty area (e.g., Family, Adult, Pediatric)Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiologyProficiency in performing sonography proceduresExperience working with electronic health record systems, such as AthenahealthFamiliarity with aseptic technique for sterile proceduresKnowledge of infant care, including vaccinations and developmental milestonesUnderstanding of family planning methods and counseling techniquesAbility to conduct clinical research studies and analyze dataCompetency in performing gastric lavage procedures when necessaryPhysical ability to lift and move patients or heavy medical equipmentNote : This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
