Job Description & Requirements Specialty : ICU - Intensive Care Unit Discipline : RN Start Date : 01 / 05 / 2026 Duration : 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, days Employment Type : Travel Opportunity : RN - ICU Neuro Job Details : Work 12-hour day shifts with guaranteed 36 hours per week 13-week contract assignment Float between Neuro Critical Care ICU and MSICU units with possible float to other critical care and inpatient units as needed Every other weekend and holiday requirement Minimum 2 years experience required with 1 travel assignment preferred Med / Surg ICU and / or Neuro ICU background with strong neuro assessment skills required EPIC charting experience required Required certifications : WI RN License, BLS, and ACLS (NIHSS preferred) Work with 8-bed Neuro unit caring for stroke, TBI, head injury, and neurosurgery patients Experience with EVDs and ICP monitoring needed Perform neuro assessments and basic bedside ICU procedures including line placement and intubation Handle neuro-specific procedures including bolt and drain bedside placements with Neurosurgery Must be able to manage independently and complete tasks timely Scrubs : any color acceptable Associate Degree or Certificate required Must be outside 50-mile radius of facility Facility : This healthcare organization operates a specialized 8-bed Neuro ICU unit that provides comprehensive critical care for patients with neurological conditions.
