End Date : January 5, 2026

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Day shift, 4x10-hour days (7 : 30 AM – 6 : 00 PM), plus call (7 on-call shifts and 5 late shifts every 6 weeks)

Hours per Week : 40

Rotating Day Off : Yes

Holiday Rotation : All travelers / staff rotate holidays

Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $2490 - $2670

Patient Population : Young, middle, and older adults

Charting System : Epic EMR

Qualifications – Cardiac Cath Lab Rad Tech Jobs in Virginia

Minimum 3 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) in a Cath Lab or similar clinical setting

Active ARRT certification and Virginia state license (or eligibility for 90-day authorization with another state license)

RCIS / CCI certification accepted

BLS and ACLS certifications required

Interventional Radiology or critical care experience preferred

Experience with Epic charting system required

Prior travel healthcare experience required

COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical / religious exemptions considered)

Responsibilities – CT Rad Tech Cardiac Cath Lab Travel Job

Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab procedures, including :

Diagnostic Catheterizations (Adult)

Coronary Athrectomy

IABP Placement and Removal

Impella Insertion

Rotablader Athrectomy

Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI)

Percutaneous Transluminal Coronary Angioplasty (PTCA)

Monitor and interpret hemodynamic data and cardiac dysrhythmias

Set up and operate specialized cardiac cath lab equipment (Intra Aortic Balloon Pumps, Impella, Penumbra, Rotapro, CSI, Shockwave, Laser, OCT, IVUS)

Maintain sterile field and assist with scrub duties

Prep vascular access sites and perform EKG lead placement

Participate in call rotation, including weekend and holiday coverage

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams (Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, Rapid Response Teams, Unit Secretary)

Ensure accurate documentation in Epic EMR
