About the College / Unit / Department
Marine Extension and Georgia Sea Grant provides integrated research, education and extension programs that foster the responsible use of Georgia's coastal resources by individuals, decision-makers and management agencies.
Our program is managed through a federal-state partnership between the University of Georgia ( UGA ) and the National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration's ( NOAA ) National Sea Grant College Program, a national network of 34 Sea Grant programs located in coastal and Great Lakes states and territories.

Bachelor's degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience or Master's degree in social sciences, program evaluation or any other related field.
Position Summary
Marine Extension and Georgia Sea Grant seek a reporting and evaluation coordinator who will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely data collection, preparation, and submission of all required university, state, and federal reports. This role involves data analysis, compliance monitoring, and collaboration with staff, faculty, and students to maintain reporting integrity, and inform data-driven decision making. Key responsibilities include assisting with preparation of progress and annual reports, coordinating and assisting in evaluation planning, survey design, data acquisition, data entry, data processing, data archiving and literature reviews as needed.
The position will also help the leadership team understand the impact of various programs that Marine Extension and Georgia Sea Grant lead. Lastly, the position will work closely with the communications department to communicate the impact of various research, extension and education programs. This is a full time, benefits eligible, staff position assigned to Marine Extension and Georgia Sea Grant's headquarters in Athens.
