Position Highlights :

Annual ED Volume : 21,000 visits

ED Beds : 9 (including trauma & psych)

EMR : Cerner (Ochsner EPIC)

Compensation : $305 / hr., paid weekly

Travel & Lodging : All expenses covered (flights, hotel, rental car, or mileage reimbursement)

Malpractice : Fully covered

Schedule :

Start Date : ASAP or by December 1, 2025

24-hour physician coverage

10-hour NP / PA daily coverage

No call, no holidays

Minimum 3 shifts / month

Shift times : 6a 6p & 6p 6a

Responsibilities :

Provide emergency care for adult and pediatric patients

Collaborate with NP / PAs and specialty consultants

Deliver care in a fast-paced, modern ED

Support continuity with inpatient and ICU teams

Qualifications :

MD or DO with Board Certification or Eligibility in EM

Active Louisiana license or IMLC eligibility

BLS, ACLS, DEA required

Cerner EMR experience preferred

If not EM-trained, must have ACLS, ATLS, PALS and 2 years of ER experience
