Social Media Manager and Content Creator

Master Power Brakes is growing. We’re seeking an in-house, full-time “Social Media Manager and Content Creator” to strengthen our digital presence, lead our brand’s communications, and build a media library for MP Brakes and our sister brands. You will be expected to go beyond social media platforms to address our online presence strategy.

The ideal candidate appreciates the automotive world, especially classic and muscle cars, and knows how to navigate the culture to accomplish brand objectives. This role suits someone who is self-sufficient, proactive, extroverted, and comfortable making connections. You must balance data-driven decision making with the ability to tell bold and compelling stories to boost engagement.

Reporting to the Marketing Director, you’ll develop and implement social media strategies to funnel high-intent traffic to our website to generate measurable conversions. You must be confident with metrics, campaign management, tracking, and growth strategies. Also able to balance deadlines and the need for polished content. This is a collaborative team environment.

This role requires managing the content pipeline for the brands, producing a variety of content, including product photography, video (interviews, announcements, product info, car shows, etc.) as well as address projects like writing press releases, blogs, etc. We’re not looking for the “face of the brand” but being camera shy is not ideal. As the position matures, additional tools and support will be provided.

Strong alignment with brand guidelines and experience building a social presence from the ground up are critical. We’re looking for a candidate with 5 or more years of experience managing an ecommerce brand on social media.

Objectives & Responsibilities

  • Build and manage social communications for MP Brakes and sister brands, driving engagement and conversions through interest-led strategies
  • Create compelling content (video, photography, campaigns) aligned with brand guidelines, ensuring consistency across platforms
  • Monitor trends, analyze performance metrics, and optimize campaigns to improve ROI and expand our presence into new channels
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop strategies, establish KPIs, expand into new channels, and keep our social media presence bold, relevant, and measurable
  • Recognize that ultimately the goal is to increase sales by tapping into new channels.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience growing a brand’s social presence from the ground up
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, video production, and product photography
  • Must be comfortable working with Microsoft Office, Slack, and project management platforms, etc.
  • Strong command of social media platforms, their analytics tools and dashboards
  • Data-driven mindset, problem-solving skills, and confident communication
  • Strong commitment to upholding brand and visual guidelines.
  • Ability to multitask, manage time effectively, and thrive under deadlines
  • Comfortable with campaign tracking tools and backend setup (pixels, UTM tagging, conversion tracking, etc.)
