Inbound Lift Operator (IB Lift)
Ryder is currently hiring an experienced and reliable Inbound Lift Operator (IB Lift) to join our warehouse team in Braintree, MA. As part of the inbound operations team on the 3rd shift, you will play a key role in receiving, staging, and organizing products in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will be certified to operate forklifts and have experience with warehouse inventory systems.
Essential Functions
- Operate forklifts (stand-up, sit-down, or reach trucks) to unload inbound freight.
- Safely and efficiently move product from receiving area to designated storage locations.
- Verify incoming shipments against bills of lading or packing lists.
- Perform visual inspections to ensure product integrity and quality.
- Use handheld scanners and WMS (Warehouse Management System) to log inventory movements.
- Stage materials for further processing or put-away.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all company safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
- Support other warehouse tasks as needed.

High School diploma or GED preferred.Minimum of 1 year of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution environment.Valid forklift certification (or ability to become certified through Ryder).Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Comfortable working in a physically demanding environment (standing, lifting, bending).Basic computer or scanner experience preferred.Preferred Skills
Experience with RF scanners and WMS systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Manhattan)Familiarity with inbound logistics or cross-docking operations.Bilingual (English / Spanish) is a plus.
