Momentum is seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide support and assistance to our clients, enabling them to live comfortably and independently in their homes. As a Caregiver, you'll play a crucial role in improving the lives of those we serve while fostering a sense of belonging, dignity, and fulfillment.
Salary : $17.75 - $18.25 per hour

Schedules Available :
6 : 30 AM to 3 : 00 PM, varying days, including weekends and holidays2 : 30 PM to 9 : 00 PM, varying days, including weekends and holidaysCaregiver Responsibilities :
Personal Care : Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressingMedication Reminders : Help clients with medication reminders, ensuring they take their medications as prescribedMeal Preparation : Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks as per the client's dietary requirementsCompanionship : Engage in meaningful conversations, provide emotional support, and participate in activities that promote mental and emotional well-beingLight Housekeeping : Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, including light housekeeping tasksTransportation : Assist clients with transportation to appointments, errands, and social activities as neededDocumentation : Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in the client's condition to the care coordinatorRespect for Dignity : Ensure that all care is provided with respect for the client's dignity and independenceCaregiver Qualifications :
The minimum age requirement of 18 yearsA high school diploma or equivalent is a mandatory prerequisiteDirect Support Professional I and / or II certification is a preferred qualificationEffective and professional communication skills, with the ability to collaborate harmoniously with colleaguesSuccessful completion of all post-offer, pre-employment screening requirements, including but not limited to a comprehensive criminal background check, drug screening, and documentation of eligibility to work in the United StatesPhysical capabilities to perform tasks such as running, pushing, pulling, bending, squatting, kneeling, lifting, and transferring individualsWith 40 programs and service sites spanning several counties, Momentum is the largest nonprofit provider of direct support for individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities in Southern California and Illinois.
