Intervention Specialist / Special Education Teacher - Part Time Intervention Specialist Position in a private Elementary Schools for the 2025-2026 school year.

This position would be for the 2025-2026 school year.

• Ohio Department of Education Intervention Specialist License is Required

The IS will provide specially designed instruction to the students assigned to his / her caseload. This individual will work collaboratively with teachers and service providers to develop objective, measurable goals and determine appropriate accommodations for student individualized education programs.

Intervention Specialist / Special Education Teacher

Responsibilities :

Collaborate with other staff members and parents / guardians in order to implement Individualized Educational Programs , Service Plans and / or other intervention programs

Provide accommodations, modifications and interventions to students identified as having a disability and qualifying for special education

Collaborate with general education teachers to provide instruction that maximizes students' access to the general education content standards

Provide specialized instruction to students with special needs in one-on-one, small-group, or inclusion settings in accordance with IEPs and / or SPs

Support the achievement of unidentified students by providing interventions as requested by other school staff with parent permission

Administer formative and summative progress evaluations to demonstrate effectiveness of instructional practices

Current ODE license as an Intervention Specialist required
