About The Position

Job Title : Float MRI Tech

Hours per Shift : 12 hours per shift

Certifications : BLS, MR (ARRT)

Must-Have : Siemens experience

Description :

Position / Specialty : Float MRI Tech.

Daily caseload per tech varies among inpatient, ER, and outpatient.

Shifts are scheduled for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 7 PM to 7 : 30 AM.

No on-call duty is required.

Clinician will float within scope to meet facility needs.

Pediatric experience and Level 1 trauma experience preferred.

A radiation badge is not required.

There is a radius rule of 60 miles for applicants.

Look for local candidates on a case-by-case basis.

All requests for time off must be included at the time of submission.

The facility is allowed to call off one shift every two weeks.

Type of facility includes a teaching hospital that is a Magnet and Level 1 trauma center.

Total staffed beds are 865.

Scrub color is teal top and black bottom.

Charting is done in Epic.

Travelers may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season.

The hurricane season runs from June through November, with peak activity in August and September.
