We are looking for a highly skilled Sr. Benefits Analyst to oversee and enhance the performance of self-funded health plans and related employee benefit programs. This contract position is based in Winter Park, Florida, and focuses on ensuring financial accuracy, regulatory compliance, and effective data analysis to support organizational goals. The ideal candidate will play a key role in aligning benefit strategies with operational and financial objectives.

Responsibilities :

  • Collaborate with brokers and internal teams to monitor claims activity, reserve balances, and stop-loss reimbursements.
  • Ensure accurate mapping of benefit deductions between payroll systems and organizational records.
  • Manage the reconciliation of benefits data through payroll and into the general ledger.
  • Analyze cost allocation across business units to support financial modeling and decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards to track claims performance, wellness program outcomes, and return on investment.
  • Provide actionable insights to leadership for benefit plan adjustments and future budgeting.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including reporting and disclosures such as 1095-C documentation.
  • Partner with accounting teams to reconcile health account transactions and submit timely benefit filings.
  • Support the rollout of key initiatives, including 401(k) plan launches and travel policy updates.
  • Maintain governance over financial initiatives related to expense reimbursement and other benefit programs.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in benefits administration or financial operations.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage and interpret large datasets effectively.
  • Familiarity with health plan reporting, regulatory compliance, and payroll systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to align benefit programs with financial and operational goals.
  • Experience in developing reporting tools and performance dashboards.
  • Knowledge of compliance requirements for employee benefits and related filings.
  • Proficiency in benefits coordination, analysis, and compensation practices.
