Urology physician employment in Kentucky :

Locums Urologist (IMLC Accepted) -Paducah, Kentucky

Start Date : 2026Contract Length : Ongoing weekend coverage

Schedule :

12 weekends per month

Thursday or Friday morning through Monday morning (7 : 00a7 : 00a)

Team is seeking 23 weekends per month to relieve the employed physician

No other urologists onsite during assignment

Position Overview : This inpatient, hospital-based locums role provides dedicated weekend call coverage for a urology team consisting of one physician and two clinic-based nurse practitioners. The locums provider will handle all inpatient responsibilities, including call coverage, consults, rounding, and performing required urologic procedures or surgeries. Robotic experience can be accommodated if desired, as the hospital has three robots, although current staff do not use them.

Daily Breakdown / Responsibilities :

On-call coverage for urology service

Consults and inpatient rounding

Perform necessary procedures and surgeries

NPs do not provide inpatient support

Adult patient population

Required Procedures :

General Urology

Advanced Endoscopic Techniques

Ureteroscopy

Laser Certification

Facility Details :

Practice Setting : Inpatient / Hospital-based

Urology Team : 1 MD for inpatient, 2 APRNs clinic-only

Labs & X-rays : Onsite

Robotics : 3 robots available if needed

Requirements :

Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible Required

Kentucky License preferred; IMLC accepted

BLS / ACLS Required

Flu shot Required

COVID vaccination Highly preferred
