Nandina is seeking a Staff Civil Engineer. The successful candidate will work directly with our engineers, technicians and surveyors, as well as clients, to lead the development of design deliverables for a variety of projects in the industrial, commercial, retail, and residential markets for private industry or public agencies. This is position is based in either the Hilton Head Island, SC or Ridgeland, SC office.

Responsibilities :

• Accountable to the project Engineer of Record for coordination and preparation of design deliverables in accordance with the established technical standards, cost, and schedule.
• Perform engineering tasks, including calculations, plans, sepcifications and drawings.
• Provide field verification activities for construction projects.
• Coordinate resolution of field questions related to field change notices and design change notices.
