Get paid while training to become a Certified Nurse Aide! Join our next paid Nurse Aide Training class offered at Passavant Community in Zelienople, PA. This comprehensive training program designed to prepare you for the state certification exam will consist of five weeks of paid clinical and classroom training during the daylight shift (6 : 45 a.m. 3 : 15 p.m.) Monday-Thursday. On Fridays, trainees will report to their home site (hours may vary). Upon successful completion of the program, you will transition to either a full-time or part-time Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A.) position. Attendance is mandatory.

Living Independence For the Elderly (LIFE) is a managed care program that serves county residents living in Armstrong, Butler, Beaver and Lawrence Counties. It is an all-inclusive comprehensive program that helps individuals maintain their independence in the community through supportive services. The LIFE centers provide a single hub for primary care, pharmacy, nursing, restorative therapy, adult day services, care coordination and social work. The center staff coordinates additional supportive services such as home health care, transportation, home accessibility modification and home delivered meals. LIFE coordinates and provides all needed preventative, primary, acute and long-term care services.
Participate in a Nurse Aide Trainee (NAT) education program, once the classroom training is completed the NA Trainee provides assistance to professional nursing staff in the care of residents / patients through performance of routine direct and indirect resident / patient care activities, according to established policies and procedures. Maintains resident / patient rights, privacy, and confidentiality. Promotes resident / patient acceptance of treatment goals and responds promptly to overall resident / patient needs. The NA Trainee will be permitted to work in this capacity until passing the state competency examination.
This C.N.A. paid training class is expected to start January 7, 2026. Deadline to apply is December 19, 2025.
