Are you a dedicated General Medicine provider seeking a flexible opportunity to conduct Compensation & Pension (C&P) exams + Separation Health Assessments? We are currently seeking General Medicine Providers for locum coverage across the country, with positions available near HIGHMORE, SD.

Opportunity Details :

Availability : This position is on a PRN basis, offering flexibility to accommodate various schedules.

Specialties Accepted : We welcome professionals from various backgrounds, including family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, or anyone with experience in general medicine or compensation and pension exams.

Coverage Options : Choose between traveling to perform exams at a leased facility and / or scheduling appointments within your own practice, providing autonomy and convenience.

Shift Options : Choose between days (4-hours) and / or full days (8-hours) to accommodate your preferences.

Exam Details : Conduct one-time non-treatment C&P exams + separation health assessments, primarily interview-based with some physical assessment including range of motion testing and muscle strength testing. No prescribing or treatment involved.

Credentialing : Benefit from a quick credentialing and onboarding process to expedite your start.

DMA Certification : Certification available with the opportunity to earn CME credits. Obtain certification if not already privileged.

Equipment : Utilize a Goniometer and your own personal laptop (NO MACs) for examinations.

Training : Comprehensive training provided for all Reporting / Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) to ensure accuracy and adherence to standards.

Reporting : Submit completed DBQs within 48 hours upon exam completion, emphasizing completion of standardized form(s) rather than narrative reports.

Evaluation Process : Utilize the provider portal for streamlined evaluation processes.

Record Review : Active participation in record reviews required to ensure comprehensive assessment and documentation.

Follow-Up Administrative Work : Regular follow-up administrative tasks including addendums, medical opinions, and reading diagnostics to maintain thorough patient records.

Providers Needed : Join a team of dedicated healthcare professionals, contributing to the collective effort to support Veterans.

Certification Requirements :

Board Certified : Ensure board certification in your respective field.
