Job Description\n

American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with 2+ years of recent OR and ER experience and required state licensure.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in a Level 2 trauma center, rotating through the Emergency Department, Operating Room, fluoro, and orthopedic office
  • Primary workload consists of OR and portable x-rays, including routine chest, ortho, neuro (with O-arm), urology, bronch, and pain management cases
  • Ortho office includes three general x-ray rooms
  • Fluoro duties include modified barium swallows and some arthrograms
  • Shift is 5x8 hour days, 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM
  • Floating may be required based on facility needs
  • Uses Epic EMR; experience preferred
  • First-time travelers will be considered
  • Candidates cannot work Riverside travel and per diem contracts simultaneously
  • Prior permanent employees must be gone at least 6 months before returning as a traveler
  • Keep time off requests to a minimum, preferably no calendar week off and no more than seven days total; all requests must be submitted with application
  • Locals are accepted at the same base rate

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Radiology Technologist required
  • OR and ER experience required
  • Experience with portable x-ray, C-Arm, and contrast procedures required
  • Current ARRT certification and valid state radiologic technologist license required; license required if applicable
  • Specialty experience must have been within the past year
  • Epic charting experience preferred
  • Must provide one supervisory reference for consideration
  • SSN and copy of driver’s license required for consideration
