Journeyman Plumber

Seeking a skilled and reliable Journeyman Plumber to join a team in Cockeysville, MD. The ideal candidate will have strong technical abilities, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to delivering quality workmanship with great customer service. This role involves installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems for residential and light commercial clients. Key Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, drainage systems, and water supply lines. Diagnose plumbing issues and provide effective, timely solutions. Perform inspections of plumbing systems to identify hazards, issues, or inefficiencies. Read and interpret blueprints, building codes, and technical diagrams. Install and test water heaters, boilers, pumps, and related equipment. Ensure all work meets local, state, and federal plumbing codes. Provide clear communication to customers regarding required repairs and options. Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and job status. Collaborate with team members and contractors to complete projects efficiently. Follow all safety procedures and company policies. Qualifications Valid Journeyman Plumber License in the state of Maryland (required). Minimum 3–5 years of plumbing experience (residential and / or commercial). Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, codes, and industry best practices. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents. Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various environments (tight spaces, outdoor conditions, heights, etc.). Preferred Skills Experience with energy-efficient or “eco-friendly” plumbing solutions. Boiler, pump, and hydronic system experience. Backflow certification.
