Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide individualized nutrition therapy for patients with eating disorders, disordered eating, and related conditions.
- Conduct nutrition assessments and develop treatment plans in collaboration with behavioral health and medical providers.
- Support patients and families with education, structured meal guidance, and recovery-focused behavioral goals.
- Participate in team case consultations to ensure comprehensive, coordinated care.
- Maintain professional credentials and continuing education requirements through the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
- Document all sessions accurately and timely within the EMR system.
Minimum Qualifications
Registered Dietitian with a Bachelor's degree in Food and Nutrition, Dietetics, or Public Health.Completed a dietetic internship accredited by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND).Hold an active registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).Previous experience or strong interest in treating eating disorders, mental health, or behavioral nutrition.Minimum of 1 year of experience working with eating disorders.Hours and Location
Part-time, remote position (schedule to be determined based on patient caseload and availability).Compensation
$28 - $30 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.Skills and Abilities
Strong understanding of eating disorder treatment approaches and nutrition interventions.Ability to collaborate closely with therapists, physicians, and other members of the treatment team.Compassionate communication style with strong motivational and counseling skills.Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.Basic computer proficiency and EMR documentation experience.Spanish-speaking preferred but not required.Our Team Culture
