Job descriptionProvide gastroenterology consultations and perform procedures for hospitalized patients. Manage a range of cases including ERCP (highly desirable). Perform conscious sedation for EGD and Colonoscopy procedures. Ensure the highest standards of care in diagnosis and treatment. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care. Must be licensed in California. Required Board Certification in Gastroenterology. Proficient with the Epic EMR system to manage patient information and care. About The Position
We are seeking a Board-Certified Gastroenterologist for a 120-day locum tenens assignment starting on Jan 1, 2026, in California. The role involves daytime shifts from 8a-5p, managing inpatient consults and procedures, with night call coverage that is infrequently active. This position requires proficiency in ERCP and conscious sedation for EGD / Colonoscopies.
