Salary :

The hourly wage for this position ranges from $25 - $29.00 and varies based on specific responsibilities and geographic location. Starting hourly rate within this range will be determined based on the candidates experience qualifications and / or skillset.

Summary :

The primary purpose of the maintenance technician is to ensure production and operations are running safely at the most efficient level achievable producing the highest possible production quality.  Complies with applicable regulations and the departments safety program.

Essential Functions :

• Troubleshoots and repairs equipment in a timely complete and cost-effective manner.
• Perform duties to maintain production machines and other facility equipment.
• Check and inspect assigned equipment during preventative maintenance. Reports findings to management.
• Complete work orders and update maintenance tracking system.
• Identifies and recommends corrections on electrical issues through knowledge of drives and PLCs.
• Ensure machine productivity and quality after repairs changeovers and extended down time.
• Maintains inventory of repair equipment and supplies.
• Respond quickly to issues or concerns that may put employees at risk for injury to include rectifying immediate dangers.
• Maintain building safety and appearance including utilities ventilation housekeeping and plumbing.
• Communicate existing and potential issues with group leaders / maintenance manager.
• Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications : Education :

High school diploma / GED preferred but not required.  Certifications preferred but not required
