Security Technician

This is a long-term opportunity for someone who is passionate about building their career in the security industry. We handle

• installation, service, and inspection
• of various security systems, and we're looking for someone who can hit the ground running.
• Responsibilities :
• Install, service, and troubleshoot :
• Fire alarms
• Security and burglar alarms
• CCTV systems
• Access control systems
• Tele-entry units
• Gate systems
• Perform rough wiring, drilling, mounting boxes, and running cables
• Install and modify access control systems including :
• Cutting strikes
• Installing maglocks
• Programming (if applicable)
• Communicate effectively with field technicians, office staff, and customers
• Maintain inventory and use computer systems for documentation
• Work varied hours depending on project needs (some early mornings, weekends, or off-hours)
• Training :
• A structured training period will be provided to get you up to speed on our projects and the specific brands / devices we work with.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hagerstown, MD.

• Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $36.00 / hr.
