PCU Registered Nurse Job Details Location : Woonsocket, Rhode Island 02895 (Rhode Island nursing jobs) Healthcare Setting : Progressive Care Unit (PCU) / Med / Surg Telemetry Assignment Type : Travel Nursing Start Date : November 17, 2025 End Date : February 15, 2026 Contract Duration : 13 weeks Nursing Shift : 12-hour days (06 : 45 AM – 07 : 15 PM), every other weekend required Hours per Week : 36 Estimated Weekly Pay : $1,680 – $1,800 Registered Nurse Qualifications Active RN license (Rhode Island compact state preferred) Minimum 2 years of recent Med / Surg Telemetry nursing experience Minimum 2 years of recent cardiac care experience, including post-cath patient care Current ACLS and BLS certifications (required prior to assignment) EPIC EMR experience required Submission must include : Cover Sheet, Resume, Skills Checklist, 2 References, License / Certification Verification, and Nursys Report (within 30 days) PCU Nurse Responsibilities Deliver high-quality nursing care to cardiac and post-cath patients in the PCU and Med / Surg Telemetry units Float between Progressive Care Unit and Med / Surg Tele units as needed Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms; respond promptly to changes in patient condition Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans Accurately document patient care using EPIC EMR Participate in weekend and night shift rotations as scheduled Apply now to join our healthcare team in Woonsocket, Rhode Island, and take the next step in your travel nursing career!
