Aerotek Hiring – General Laborer – $19 / hour – Spokane, WA

Job Summary :

We are hiring a General Laborer to support cleaning and sanitation operations in a flour mill. This entry-level role offers cross-training opportunities in packing, milling, and other production areas.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Perform general cleaning and sanitation of the facility
  • Sweep flour dust and maintain safety standards
  • Conduct blowdown and equipment cleaning using lockout / tagout procedures
  • Transition into packing and milling tasks after training
  • Join a rotating schedule after three months based on interest and company needs

Required Skills and Qualifications :

  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
  • Comfortable working in hot, dusty environments
  • Basic computer skills for data entry
  • Strong work history and interest in trade skills
  • Willingness to work 12-hour rotating shifts
  • Experience in baking, cooking, palletizing, quality inspection, forklift operation, and materials handling preferred

    • Work Environment :

  • Large, multi-level flour mill facility
  • Dusty and loud with continuous machine operation
  • Summer temperatures may reach up to 115°ree;F
  • Mandatory safety gear : hair nets, hard hats, steel-toed boots
  • Frequent stair use in slippery conditions

    The pay range for this position is $18.83 - $18.83 / hr.
