Position Summary :
The Nothing Bundt Cakes Regional Business Coach embodies and fosters all aspects of the Nothing Bundt Cakes (NbC) culture and core values, especially our goal to “Bring the Joy!”. The Regional Business Coach acts as a liaison between the Support Office and Bakery Owners. They deliver company objectives, regional goals, and foster regular communication between the Support Team and Bakery Owners.
Success is defined by achieving sales and traffic growth, implementation of brand initiatives of the Franchise Bakery locations while driving Operational Excellence for our Team Members and Guests. They serve as an influential coach and business consultant for their assigned group of Owners (and their Bakeries). By providing Bakery Owners with data-driven consultation, coaching, and support, they help drive operational excellence, Guest satisfaction, sales growth, and profitability.
Accountabilities / Duties :
- Completes targeted number of Bakery visits within region to provide appropriate coaching, training, education, and development. These visits also serve to ensure brand protection in all areas, including operations, facilities, marketing, training, ordering, development, and brand standards, to drive success.
- Assist Bakery Owners with analyzing their business opportunities and areas for improvement while preparing short- and long-term business goals.
- Facilitate Business Reviews to help improve results and obtain excellence within the Bakery locations.
- Consult with assigned Bakery Owners to drive operational effectiveness, guest service execution, food safety, brand standards, sales growth, and profitability. Leverage reporting and systems to analyze data, identify trends, and provide recommendations that will maximize strengths and improve areas of opportunity.
- Execute required coaching sessions with Bakery Owners not meeting performance or operational expectations. Develop action plans to improve performance.
- Proactively identify and problem solve potential issues with Bakery Owners and / or Bakeries, leveraging internal support as necessary to facilitate resolution.
- Consult with assigned Bakery Owners to evaluate new development opportunities to build out locations and grow market share.
- The Regional Business Coach will take the lead in supporting the new bakery opening process as needed and will play a key role in the ongoing training and follow-up for new bakeries to increase productivity and profitability, as well as compliance of all brand and Guest service standards for proper brand representation.
- Translates NbC financial benchmarks to the Nothing Bundt Cake operators while creating and executing strategies to maximize sales and control expenses to NbC Owners / Operators.
- Assists in marketing plan execution, including delivery, with all Nothing Bundt Cake operators while ensuring marketing strategies support 10,000 bites of Joy and overall growth and profitability.
- Provides owner / operators with guidance and collaboration to improve the efficiency of their daily operations.
- Organizes and conducts regional meetings that constructively engages Owners with value-added content while improving attendance through effective marketing and communication.

2-4 years of franchise, restaurant, or retail operations experience1-2 years of multi-unit management experience (preferred)Associates, BA / BS degree a plusAbility to travel
