Job descriptionARRT Mammography certification (ARRT-M) Basic Life Support (BLS) from AHA State Radiology License Completion of an ARRT-approved Radiologic Technology program Undergraduate degree in radiologic technology or a related clinical field Conduct breast imaging exams according to departmental standards and protocols. Identify and resolve issues related to imaging and equipment. Prepare exam rooms and patients efficiently, explaining procedures clearly. Obtain optimal image quality through proper positioning and instructions. Archive images accurately to PACS and ensure data integrity. Use Epic, Radiant Information Systems, and mammography reporting tools proficiently. Enter orders, schedule exams, document notes, and complete billing tasks accurately. Support quality assurance, scheduling, and patient coordination tasks as needed. Maintain a clean, organized, and sterile exam environment. Assist radiologists and medical staff during procedures and with specimen preparation. Provide teaching and support to co-workers, students, and new staff.
