Community Engagement Librarian, Matawan Aberdeen Public Library

The Matawan-Aberdeen Public Library seeks an enthusiastic and outgoing, tech-savvy, customer service-oriented librarian to join our friendly team.

Job duties include, but are not limited to, the following :

• Communicating and coordinating with community organizations and schools.
• Planning, scheduling, and execution of outreach events in the community.
• Maintenance of outreach schedule and collaboration with staff.
• Coordination with director and department heads to generate ideas and new opportunities.
• Reference and Youth Services desk fill-ins.

Requirements :

Schedule : 10-15 hours per week (schedule TBD)

“Good Faith” Salary, Range, or Rate of Pay

Salary : $35.18 / hour ($27.18 / hour for MLIS students)
