Radiology Technologist Job Details

Location : Bismarck, ND 58501 (North Dakota radiology jobs)

Healthcare Setting : Acute care hospital with 223 inpatient beds

Assignment Type : Travel Radiology Technologist

Start Date : December 8, 2025

End Date : March 9, 2026

Contract Duration : 13 weeks

Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week

Shift Schedule : Straight weekends – Friday 9am-9pm, Saturday 9am-9pm, Sunday 7am-7pm (12-hour rotating shifts)

Dress Code : Hospital-provided gray scrubs

Estimated Weekly Salary : $2140 - $2290

Radiology Technologist Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience as a Radiology Technologist (Rad Tech)

Current ARRT certification required

North Dakota State Licensure or willingness to obtain temporary ND license

BLS certification

Level I / II Trauma experience required

Experience in a 400+ bed hospital highly preferred

Travel healthcare experience highly preferred

General radiography and medical imaging skills

Ability to work independently and take call as needed

Radiology Technologist Responsibilities

Perform general CR-DR imaging, fluoroscopy, c-arm, cartography, and trauma radiology procedures

Operate equipment including GE, Phillips, Carestream, Toshiba, and utilize electronic EMR (EPIC), PACS (McKesson)

Float to other hospital units such as OR, ER, and provide portable x-ray services

Badge in and out at the facility as required

Participate in EMR training and department protocol review during orientation

Maintain high standards of patient care and safety in a fast-paced, trauma-level healthcare environment
