We leverage leading-edge technology to provide service to clients in consumer packaged goods, pharmaceutical, and retail sectors. We are currently recruiting for the position of Quality Technician.
Shift and pay :
- 11 : 30 PM - 7 : 30 AM | Monday - Friday | $19.25 per hour
- Must have open availability to work overtime, daily and weekends
Prior experience in food manufacturing operations or related supply chain environments is preferred.
Responsibilities
Performs hourly checks using mobile devices to verify finished goods coincide with customer in-plant instructions and standards.Performs inspections of packaging and donor candy to verify specifications / requirements are met to better reject or discard materials not up to standards.Performs manufacturing quality inspection audits on product as required (e.g., weight accuracy, bag quality, label accuracy, unusual odor or discoloration).Inspects and audits staged inbound and outbound product (SKU, visible damage, pallet count).Provides general support and assistance in resolving and researching quality discrepancies by reporting them to management.Maintains compliance with GMPs, 6S and OSHA standards.Follows all Safety, Quality, and Productivity standards.Performs quality inspections, auditing and updating verification forms (line clearance, safety audits, conformance, sanitation audits).Oversees the day-to-day activities of the sanitation crew.Performs other duties as assigned.Champions stretching and ergonomically appropriate exercises.Qualifications
High school education or GED preferred.Exceptional attention to detail.Strong mathematical skills.Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks based on business needs.Computer skills including Microsoft Office, data entry and QA applications.Strong communication skills (written, verbal and penmanship).Ability to stand for long periods of time.Ability to frequently lift 35 lbs. and occasionally up to 55 lbs.Prior quality knowledge is a plus.Must be able to work overtime, both daily and weekends.Benefits
