Inbound Insurance Sales Representative – Licensed or Unlicensed
(Property & Casualty – Personal Lines)

$60k+ First Year - Paid Training + Company-Sponsored P&C License
Location: Grand Rapids – Caledonia, MI 49316
Hybrid schedule – (3) days onsite required weekly after training

Licensed Candidates
Start Date: 4/6/26
Training: Approximately 4 weeks (onsite)
Unlicensed Candidates
Start Date: 5/25/26
Training: Approximately 9 weeks (onsite, includes licensing preparation)
Compensation:
- Average yearly earnings: $63,000 (uncapped)
- Top performers earn $100,000+ annually
- Starting base pay: $18.00 per hour
- Monthly commission, Paid Training
Type: Direct Hire | Paid Training | Company Sponsored P&C Licensing
Schedule: After training, you will be assigned a 40-hour work week and must be open to department hours:
Monday–Friday or Tuesday–Saturday: 7:00 AM – 9:00 PM CST / 8:00 AM – 10:00 PM EST
Training Schedule: (5 Weeks) On-Site
Monday–Friday: 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM CST / 10:30 AM – 7:00 PM EST

Job Description
As a Licensed Inbound Sales Consultant, you will:
- Sell insurance products to inbound callers by collecting customer information, generating quotes, and binding policies
- Occasionally perform outbound follow-up calls
- Educate customers on coverage options and pricing to ensure they select the most appropriate plan
- Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities
- Navigate multiple systems efficiently while maintaining a professional and seamless customer experience
- Manage an average of 12–15 calls per day, including inbound sales, outbound follow-ups, and post-sale processing
Lead Sources
- Majority of inbound calls come from customers responding to marketing campaigns who may qualify for employer or affiliate discounts
- Some retail customers without employer/affiliate relationships
What Does Success Look Like?
Performance is measured by:
- Policies converted (new policies bound)
- Total premium converted (revenue generated)
- Cross-sell performance
- Unplanned shrink (time away from calls)
Ramp-Up Expectations
- Month 1: 70% of goal
- Month 3: 90% of goal
- Month 6: Meeting or exceeding full targets
Requirements
- Minimum 1+ year of sales experience (retail, hospitality, call center, or similar industries)
- Active Property & Casualty (P&C) License in the State of Michigan (required at time of hire for licensed candidates)
- Strong sales acumen and closing ability
- Comfortable working in a metrics-driven, high-performance environment
- Tech-savvy; able to navigate CRM systems and multiple screens simultaneously
- Professional verbal and written communication skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Background check and education verification required
