Wound Care Clinic Manager
Plans, organizes, manages and coordinates clinic services and staff to achieve continuous and optimal patient care within a clinic. Completes various special projects, cultivates exemplary customer service, develops and implements policies, and ensures quality program management. Manages clinic facilities, participates in the development of services, and provides fiscal program management. Supervises and directs staff, tracks the flow of medical records and patient information, and stays updated on current theories and practices in the nursing profession. Knowledge of laws, rules, and regulations is required. No licenses or certifications needed.
Physical Demands and Work Conditions include : hearing conversations in person and on the telephone, speaking clearly, seeing to read reports and documents, working in small, confined spaces, working in areas that are not well ventilated, performing arm, hand, and finger motions, and having manual dexterity to operate a computer. Blood borne pathogen exposure is category III with no exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues, and category I tasks that are not a condition of employment.
