We are currently seeking to add two licensed mental health counselors to our team on a contract basis in Virginia,

- Position Overview
As a licensed mental health counselor (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, etc.), you will deliver evidence-based therapeutic services to clients through virtual or in-person sessions. You will work collaboratively with other clinicians to provide counseling services to individuals, couples, and families seeking support with mental health concerns. This role is a 1099 contract position, offering flexibility in scheduling and compensation based on caseload.
- Responsibilities
- Provide individual, couples, and family therapy sessions for clients, focusing on mental health support and well-being.
- Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques (e.g., CBT, DBT, EMDR, ACT, etc.) to help clients manage mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health needs.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in accordance with state and federal regulations.
- Collaborate with other professionals (e.g., psychiatric providers), as needed, to provide comprehensive care.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable legal, ethical, and regulatory standards.
- Provide crisis intervention as needed.
- Maintain professional license in good standing.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training as required by respective licensing board standards.
- Maintain professional liability insurance policy.
- Qualifications
- Must be a fully licensed mental health professional in the state of Virginia (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or similar).
- Provisionally licensed candidates who will be fully licensed by December 15, 2025, will be considered.
- Proven ability to build rapport with clients and maintain a therapeutic environment.
- Strong knowledge of therapeutic techniques and evidence-based practices.
- Ability to manage a caseload independently and effectively, including minor administrative tasks (insurance billing and scheduling support provided).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as a 1099 contractor.
- Proficient with electronic health record (EHR) systems or a willingness to learn.
- Flexible schedule and availability for remote and in-person sessions.
- Compensation
- Competitive split based on caseload. Starting split of 60 / 40 in favor of the clinician, with a maximum split of 70 / 30 for full caseloads (average of 18-22 appointments per week).
