Job description

Position : Assistant / Associate Professor in the Clinical Scholar Pathway

Qualifications :

  • Board Certified / Board Eligible (BC / BE) in Cardiology
  • Training in general cardiology and cardiac imaging
  • Interest or training in the care of patients with advanced heart failure

Responsibilities :

  • Provide ambulatory and inpatient cardiovascular care within the University of Vermont Health Network
  • Interpret noninvasive studies, including stress tests and echocardiograms
  • Conduct ambulatory clinic sessions
  • Offer inpatient cardiology care and consultation at the University of Vermont Medical Center (UVMMC)
  • Participate in teaching efforts (10% effort), including the education of medical students, residents, and fellows
  • Engage in appropriate hospital, departmental, or University service activities

    • Call Schedule :

  • 2-3 weekday nights per month
  • 2-3 weekends per year
