GENERAL JOB SUMMARY :
Responsibilities include instructional design work with face to face, online and hybrid courses. This person will work with faculty and other subject matter experts to assist in creating dynamic, interactive college credit courses. The person in this position must have excellent writing skills, teaching experience, familiarity with online learning, curriculum design and ability to develop accessible instructional materials that are consistent with sound instructional design principles. This person should have experience with educational technologies web-based course management tools, including HTML. Experience with professional development, project management and other multimedia software would be helpful.
The typical work schedule for this position will be Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES WITH / WITHOUT REASONABLE ACCOMMODATION :
Position involves working in an office setting. Occasional (10-33%) standing, pushing, pulling and grasping. Frequent (34-66%) reaching and viewing a computer and other types of close visual work. Constant (67-100%) sitting, walking, repetitive motion, talking and hearing.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS, LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, OR REGISTRATIONS :
Experience with a variety of design methods and tools
Background in instructional design
Knowledge of adult learning theory
Experience working collaboratively with instructors
Experience developing WCAG 2.1 AA compliant educational materials using LMS, HTML, Office, Adobe Suite, etc.
Experience with creating and leading professional development / training sessions
