Description

Paris Corporation is seeking a proven National Account Manager with direct experience managing consumer packaged goods into national retail accounts. This role is responsible for managing and growing key retail relationships, with a strong emphasis on Walmart, as well as other major big-box and e-commerce retailers. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience driving consumer product sales through retail channels, understanding how to work with buyers on category growth, promotions, and modular resets, and can leverage POS / retail data tools (Retail Link, Nielsen, IRI, etc.) to make data-driven decisions.

This is not a software or enterprise services sales role. We are specifically seeking professionals who have successfully managed tangible consumer products in a retail environment.

Requirements

What you'll do :

  • Manage, grow, and optimize sales with existing national retail accounts, with a primary focus on Walmart
  • Develop and execute joint business plans with retail buyers, driving category growth and improved margins.
  • Leverage omni-channel best practices to maximize product visibility and sales across in-store, online, and marketplace platforms.
  • Plan and implement product placement, promotional, and pricing strategies across in-store and online channels.
  • Analyze data and reporting tools (Retail Link, Nielsen, IRI, etc.) to track performance, identify opportunities, and address challenges.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Supply Chain, and Product Development to ensure execution excellence at retail.
  • Proactively identify and secure new retail account opportunities to expand Paris's consumer product presence.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key retail decision-makers and buyers.
  • Stay current with OTIF / SQEP metrics, modular resets, and promotional planning requirements to ensure compliance and retailer satisfaction.

Your Background :

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in managing consumer product sales in CPG, office / school supplies, paper products, or related categories.
  • Proven success managing Walmart, Target, Amazon, Costco, or similar national accounts
  • Deep understanding of category management, promotional execution, and retail scorecards
  • Experience with Retail Link and other retail analytics platforms preferred
  • Excellent strategic, analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Retail Link and Scintilla experience preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant retail reporting platforms.
