Job Title : Assembler

Salary : $18.00 +

Shift : 1 st Shift, M-F 7 : 00am - 3 : 30pm

Summary : General Assembly duties may include building / finishing our amazing in-house products as well as components of those from many of our clients. Utilizing hand tools, power tools, machines such as forklifts.

Job Responsibilities :

Execute daily work instructions received from shop manager / supervisor in a timely manner
Keep manufacturing areas free of debris and dirt, and set out or put away tools
Safely operate a forklift to handle materials and complete work
Building and / or finishing a variety of in-house products utilizing hand and power tools

Qualifications / Requirements :

Math Skills : Basic math skills

Familiar with the function of hand tools related to grinding / deburring materials

Good attention to detail and self-motivated

Accurately read a tape measure and micrometer

Able to work independently through given instruction or as an active member of a team

Manual dexterity to use hand held tools and shop machines

Positive attitude and work ethic

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Experience in general labor / manufacturing and / or metal fabrication preferred

Ability to understand blueprints documents

Knowledge of simple operations in windows based computer environment; preferred in JobBOSS

Must be able to understand and read written instructions and or directions in work related documents.
