Telemetry Experience

Description :

This is a fast-paced unit with a patient capacity of 32 beds.

Patient ratios are 1 : 5 and 1 : 6.

Nurse techs and unit secretaries are available to support staff.

Equipment includes bedside telemetry.

The documentation system used is Meditech.

Modified self-scheduling is utilized, with every other weekend required.

Floating to another medical-surgical unit and emergency department holds may be necessary.

Candidates should be familiar with AIDET and hourly rounding.

Whiteboards are used for effective communication.

Advanced skills in ACLS and telemetry experience are essential.

The required uniform is royal blue scrubs.

Unit-specific policies and guidelines will be provided.
