About The Position

Must-Have :

• Experience with GE and Siemens equipment, specifically 1.5T and 3T MRI.
• Strong pediatrics background as the role focuses almost exclusively on pediatric scanning.
• Inpatient / outpatient MRI experience with patients of all ages including pediatrics, neonates, stroke, and trauma patients.
• Certification as a Radiologic Technologist through ARRT (not ARMRIT).

Description :

This position requires an MRI Tech to work three 12-hour shifts on the weekend.

The shifts are scheduled from 7 : 00 AM to 7 : 30 PM.

The role does not involve on-call duties.

Strong experience in pediatric MRI is essential.

The technician will be responsible for performing MRI scans on a diverse patient population including adults and children.

Experience with specific scanning techniques and the ability to prepare and administer contrast media are required.

Familiarity with various MRI applications such as brain, abdomen, and musculoskeletal is preferred.

The technician should be skilled in using PACS and properly documenting patient care.

Floating to different departments may be required based on patient census needs.

Compliance with all health and safety regulations, including any required vaccinations, is necessary.
